Zontec has announced support for its Synergy 3000™ Web Operator and Web Manager SPC applications on the new Apple® iPad™.

Using this revolutionary mobile media device, Synergy 3000 Web Operator users can input production data, view SPC charts, monitor processes, input traceability tags, record assignable causes and corrective actions in real time. Similarly, Synergy 3000 Web Manager users can access a global dashboard view of all their company's processes for decision support, zoom in on charts and spreadsheets for any SPC characteristic, and generate quality reports from remote locations. Depending on the iPad model chosen, users connect to the Web via Wi-Fi or 3G networks.

The iPad also transmits and receives Synergy 3000 e-mail alerts to up to 500 recipients for out-of-control and/or out-of-specification conditions.
