Monitoring Overfills and Underfills for Huge Cost Savings

ConocoPhillips, the second-largest refiner in the U.S., has chosen Zontec's Synergy 2000 SPC software to help manage its product quality. The initial installation for a manufacturing facility in Georgia will be followed by implementation across multiple plant locations.

ConocoPhillips will use the software to manage net fill levels for its line of retail package good products by preventing overfills and underfills. Annual projected cost savings for waste reduction per plant are estimated in the six-figure range–a payback far exceeding their original software investment.
